Please add a Pause button that lets one pause an extended backup to perform another resource intensive activity then resume where it left off.

I had just downloaded and installed the program under Win7 a little over a week before I posted this. I've now installed the latest version (which must have just come out) and will have to see how it goes. Since my failures are intermittent it takes a while to be sure they're gone.
<blockquo...

I've recommended FBackup to several people who I help with their computers, but now I'm beginning to regret this and am a little embarrassed to have to go back to them and say I made a mistake.

I began using FBackup on XP and everything seemed to be working well. Shortly after that I inst...

You're right. That was it. But, I had checked the permissions on that drive and they permit Computer A to have full read/write access. And, when the program said all is well I assumed all was well. I had to independently share the target folder.

I am trying to backup a folder on Computer A to a folder on Computer B.

When I set up the backup profile and test the connection it says everything's OK. But when I try to do the backup it fails saying it cannot create the target folder. The target folder is already there and doesn't need ...

I figured it out. To test to see if it was only copying changed files I was stopping it before it completed and restarting it. The files copied earlier are there but apparently it doesn't realize that and recopies them. Once I let it complete it works as advertised.

I just installed Win7 and decided to try FBackup. I'm using the "Mirror" mode. Everything seemed to go right with the first backup, but . . .

On the second backup it recopied ALL files again. It's my understanding it's supposed to skip (not recopy) unchanged files.

I know it's reco...
