Re: FB5 vs FB4: creating files list slow
Okay... turns out Fbackup even deletes files it didn't create itself in the first place. Zipped the logs, only to find my 7z file was deleted along with the original log files

Re: FB5 vs FB4: creating files list slow
Could you make this a user setting (i.e. with the option to set a maximum dir size or completely disable log deletion)? I don't mind manually cycling my logs, in fact I prefer it

Re: FB5 vs FB4: creating files list slow
Sadly it appears that some backup jobs don't have logs, including my largest ones. If no large changes come up that need backing up I'll try a test event, but as these are quite taxing on my CPU and I need it most of the week, it might take a while. Hopefully someone else with the same issue will be...

Re: FB5: job icons
I did, as it took a few tries to get icons that work with FB5's resolution, I deleted a few then added new ones. Next thing I know my photo dir had a games icon on it, and so on. It appears to be shifting related to which icons were after the deleted one in the icon strip files (FBackup.16.png etc),...

Re: FB5: interrupted test process still marked as 'ok'
Interesting... there is no log file whatsoever from that job. In fact, I've completed 8 jobs and only 4 of them have logs (one even has four logs as I ran it a few times to update the backup).

FB5: job status
I quite like the new layout, and using the 'list' mode gives a nice compact overview of my dozen backup jobs. The job status however is much less easily visible, would it be possible to add the status icons of the cards here as well, in the same way that the job icons are showing in list mode alread...

FB5 vs FB4: creating files list slow
For FB4 you at some point introduced an update which drastically sped up the directory scanning process, however in FB5 it seems to be performed at the old, relatively slow speed (especially for jobs with lots of small files). Would it be possible to reintroduce this to FB5?

FB5: interrupted test process still marked as 'ok'
During the test phase, fbackup froze on a single file for some reason so I had to kill the process. After restarting however, the job is still marked as 'OK' even though it obviously hasn't been verified (a subsequent test job confirmed the files were okay btw). Could you add an intermediate 'comple...
