RESTORING UNBACKEDUP FILES
Expecting to have to restore my files, rather than do an entire backup I added some more current files to my backup. Because FBackup didn't back these files up will that cause any problems when restoring?

Re: Question about Restore
Thanks for your reply.
When you say "If the original files are still there, you will be asked if you want to overwrite the files or not."
Will you be asked for each one or can you just say do this for all original files?

Question about Restore
I've been using FBackup for several years but have never done a restore. I've restored individual files but never a complete restore as done by FBackup. My questions are, when FBackup does a restore: . . .o Does it restore all files or only files with an older date? . . .o I assume it puts all files...

Restore Didn't
I believe I'm using version 5.
I tried to restore just now and it never got past 0. I waited 30 minutes and gave up.
I've never restored before. I expected something like the backup. Reading some master file and then restoring the files in the backup that were newer.
How's it supposed to work?

Backup Hung
Fbackup has been hung at "96% Update Catalog for 45minutes.
Is there anything I can do? I hope not to have to do another total backup because that takes 16 hours.
PS Drive operation does not change whether Paused or Running

How Do I Know When It's Finished?
With an earlier version when the backup was complete I got a message saying something like this -- Backup complete with 20 warnings.
Now I don't know when it's finished. How do I tell?

What Does the ! Mean and Why Don't I Get Confirmation?
With the older version I got a screen confirming the backup had finished. With this version I don't, so I don't know if it backed my stuff up or not. Also, anytime I open Fbackup (before or after a backup) I get the exclamation point shown in the attached screen capture. What does it mean and why is...

Re: Scheduled Backup Not Happening
Looks like that fixed it. Thank you very much. FYI, I have installed your program on between 12 and 15 computers and I didn't realize there was a second method of scheduling the backup -- I've always just accepted the default, and it has always worked 'til now. So, when you say The Windows scheduler...
