FBackup does not access the web. It is using the LAN only if the backup sources or the backup destination are on a network drive.

Hi,
To edit an existing backup job, please open FBackup then right click the job and select "Properties".

In Backup Properties you can edit the job.

When you finish editing the job, press Save.

Hi,
1. The "Run action before backup" feature allows you to run a single action: Clear Backup. You cannot choose a specific program to run.
2. You cannot backup only the files with the archive bit set.

Hi Simon,
We found the problem when trying to configure a backup to network. This problem will be fixed in the next build. In the meantime, you can type the UNC path to the backup destination folder.

Thanks for pointing that out. However, FBackup is a free software but not an open source one. I'll modify that sentence to avoid confusion.

Dear Michael,
The USB drive you are trying to use is a removable one. This destination type (removable drive) is not yet available in FBackup. We will think about adding such a feature: to use the removable drive as backup destination.

Hi Michael,
Are you trying to use an external USB drive or a removable drive?

Please note that removable drives are not allowed as backup destinations.
