I would like a full backup to be done once a week of my selected folders/files and an incremental for the other 4 days. When will you provide that functionality within FBackup?
For now, I wrote a batch job to delete the 2 fkc files that I schedule to run every wednesday!

The tip that I mentioned works for the FBackup shortcut icon on your desktop when manually started (by double clicking on the shortcut) but unfortunately a backup job that is done through the scheduler doesn't use the properties of this shortcut.

<t>Here is a tip that might partially help you until the feature is implemented.<br/> I assume you have the Fbackup shortcut icon on your desktop. If so, right click on it and select Properties. Under the tab called Shortcut, Change the value for "Run" from "Normal window" to "Minimized" and click o...

I haven't considered the pros and cons for this but perhaps using the Microsoft Windows's Update approach would make sense. The Admin could specify to automatically download updates and optionally automatically insta...

<t>Dear SysAdmin, please add the following 4 items to the wish list. <br/> Item 1) can you please add a pruning option where a user can specify how many days of log files to keep. As far as I can see, log files are NEVER deleted! I think this parameter should be places in the Tools/Options window.<b...

<t>If FBackup could run as a service, then it could when users logoff. However, I don't think the program current supports that. Hi Rick,
This is the same issue I have. See post "Backup doesn't work if destination repository is deleted".
Cheers,

Pierre

ok
Using the mirror option, is there a way to fool the program to do a complete (based on my selected directories) backup. What if I delete the source catalog (fck)? Would that do it?
thanks

Pierre
