Re: Upgrade to 7.4.77 Did not work
As I recall it was a very unusual issue; during the backup I was only getting partial file/folder backup. Much was missing and each subsequent backup produced a random file/folder selection regardless of what I selected including empty directories. Also it was quite slow compared to 6.**

Re: Upgrade to 7.4.77 Did not work
I won't update anymore out of version 6.** to 7.**. I've had nothing but issues with v.7. V.6.** works great, no glitches and very fast!

location of the 'Sources' file for backing up...
I'd like to know the location of the 'Sources' file. This would be the file that has your selection of files and folders to be backed up. I'm not referring to your actual backup files.

Re: Fast Mirror - what is it?
I can only do backups that replaces each and every file every time I backup [fast mirror unchecked] however this always takes approx. 2 hours. If I put a check mark in fast mirror...only new and changed files are backed up and the rest of the files get deleted from destination backup. I do not have ...

Re: Fast Mirror - what is it?
How come in FBackup version 6 with no "Fast Mirror" option available, the backup did exactly that. The backups took little time because only new or modified files were backed up. Why was this new option "Fast Mirror" in version 7 implemented anyway?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: all selected folders get backed up...but no selected files in the folders
So Exclude in filters means; it will back up everything I select in source except what is indicated for Exclude?
Include in filters means; it will only back up what I have selected in filters and ignore anything else I have selected in source?

Re: all selected folders get backed up...but no selected files in the folders
I unchecked in filters tab 'office temporary files' [type=Include] and left checked 'Temporary Files-use as exclude' [Type=exclude] and all worked ok. I didn't realize by checking 'office temporary files' [type=Include] that I would be actually telling the backup not to backup any of my files that I...
