Re: Major bug with fbackup 5
Hi,
Can you tell me what was different when you were able to run the backup without that error? I still cannot reproduce the problem here.

Re: Restoring
Hi,
If you used the Full backup type, try opening the destination .zip file using WinZip 9.1 or later. Do you still have the problem?

Re: "not found in backup skipped"
Hi,
It seems the message appears during the test phase of the backup. Sometimes, if the destination is a network drive, the connection could be interrupted for a few moments and that is why the warning appears. In such a case you can run a manual test by pressing the Test (F9) button.

Re: Fbackup 5 - safe mode issue
Hi,
Running programs in Windows safe mode is not recommended as there are some features not working.
Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers.
Please use FBackup in Windows normally. Let us know if you still have that problem.

Re: Notepad slow to open in FBackup
Hi,
In this case, the problem is not from FBackup. Please see the size of the log file. Is that a large file?
You can open the logs folder and manually open a log from that location using Notepad. The speed should be the same.

Re: old program
Hi,
You can continue using the old version of FBackup but we will no longer develop it. I cannot tell you now for how long the support will be available for the old version.
