Access violation after upgrade from 8 to 9

Post by chinapres »

I have just upgraded from FBackup 8 to FBackup 9. Since doing that every time I attempt to run my backup I get the following error message

Backup aborted. Reason:
Access violation at address 00F3F8EC in module 'bBackup.exe'. Read of address 00000010

I have tried to uninstall and re-install and the error still occurs. I have created a new backup job which just backs up one file and that runs fine but when I try and run my original backup job I always get this error.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this error?

Hi,

It seems to be related to the backup catalog.
Please send us the .fkc catalog file from the backup destination, to info[at]fbackup[dot]com
