Recently using Fbackup ver 4.8.275 scheduled with Windows Scheduler, i have issues with the backup aborting with the following message
'Filename' cannot be added to "ExtDrv:\Backup Name\1_x.zip". Zip Error: Access Violation at address 00817806 in module FBackup.EXE. Read of address 363C386C
This message has occurred for different files not always the same one.
I can go and do a manual backup and most often the backup proceeds okay. Just once it burped. What is the problem. This has only been occurring in recent several weeks but I don't recall when the latest version was installed.

Hi,
Please download the latest version of FBackup 4.8.286.

Do you have the same problem if you use another destination drive?

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

I have installed the latest version 4.8.286. since that the 'access violation" aborted problem no longer exists . however there are now always several "warnings" at backups that the CRC test failed. No failure just warnings. When I check the external drive I see that the columns at Packets; Size; and Ratio all read zero but the files appear to be there and are accessable.
Please advise
