FBackup Forum

When I run fbsetup-full.exe on WIndows 10 I get an error "FBackup 6.4 has stopped working". Have tried compatibility mode for every other version of windows, have tried run as administrator. I have this program on 2 other Windows 10 machines with no issues at all. Only major difference is this machine is running the Home version, the ones that are actually running FBackup are Pro versions. Computer is an HP laptop with an i7 processor and 8GB ram.

Hi,

1. Please make sure the setup file was completely downloaded. For version 6.4.355, the size should be 70.6 MB (74,113,208 bytes)
2. Make sure you use an administrator account and you can install other applications on that computer.
3. Make sure the antivirus/firewall does not block the installation of FBackup.
4. See if you have the log file (FBackup_6.4_xx.log) in "C:\Users\<user_name\AppData\Local\Temp\". Send us that file to info[at]fbackup[dot]com
