Hi
First let me thank for this wonderful backup program. I have been using it with several scheduled backups on a small server for almost 2 years with incredible stability.
But now, since about two weeks the backups are producing failures. I have not changed anything. Those failures were already described here, with the professional version:

http://www.backup4all.com/forum/support ... -t309.html
also in my case it affects randomly different files in each backup, which are fine if you go and check them on the disk, but not in the backup. also the problem occurs with different backup location on diffrent disks.
What i have done so far: update to newest version, checking for filesystem problems, but nothing helped
I'm guessing that there is some kind of internal limit in fbackup. With about 80'000 files and about 55G I'm probably over this limit and the backup also takes quite some time (2 hours) consindering that the source is an Intel SSD coping the backup to a separate internal HDD with a modern quadcore.
Because I like the simplicity of FBackup I would like to continue using fbackup. Upgrading to the professional version is of course also an option, but because the core of those two programs are probaly the same and no software limits concerning file limits are stated between those two programs, I'm assuming that it would behave the same.
Thank you in advance for any help!
Greetings,

Michael

Hi,
There is no limitation in FBackup regarding the size or the number of files.

In Backup4all, please run a manual test for that job by pressing the Test (F9) button.

If you still have the problem, please send us the catalog file from destination to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Hi
Thank you for your response!
I think I was able to resolve the problem (no more warnings for the last few days), it had to do with the volume shadow copy handler in windows server 2008 R2 not having all the necessary rights. Other programs like Cobian had the same warings.
Please could you delete the two previous posts I made. There are names of patients in it that are not supposed to be on the internet. Tank you very much in advance!
Greetings,

Michael

Hi,
I removed the names.

Is that ok?
