Hi,

Please download the latest version of FBackup 5.3.723 from our website and import all jobs, then run again that backup.
Do you still have the problem?

Hi,

It seems the backup catalog is corrupted.
Please send us the "C:\Documents and Settings\Bob\Application Data\Softland\FBackup 5\Catalogs\BMP.fkc" file to info[at]fbackup[dot]com to see if it can be repaired.

Would it be just as easy for me to delete the corrupted backup job and create a new one?

I was also wondering if you know what would cause this type of file to become corrupt? In other words, is there anything I can do to avoid having this happen again?

Hi,

You can create a new backup job if that is fine for you.

A possible reason is that the destination drive was disconnected during the backup or it has errors on it and needs to be scanned for errors.
