Hi, I have had no trouble downloading FBackup updates previously, but when I started to download, from I think from version 6.2 the download kept pausing and I had to keep clicking on the download to keep it going. At the end of the interrupted download I saw a message saying "This is not normally downloaded and could harm your computer". When I tried to download it displayed a further warning and I can't remember the wording . I then tried from another older lap top computer that was running Windows Vista with the same result. I then changed browsers to Google Chrome and the download worked perfectly. I then came back to my first desk top computer that is running Windows 10 and changed my browser from Microsoft edge to Chrome and it worked perfectly. It makes me think you have changed browsers for downloading updates, and that sounds a little bizarre? Even when I went direct to "http://www.fbackup.com/quick-download.php", it still would not download correctly on Microsoft edge or IE-9 on the other PC running windows vista but successful on both pc running Goggle Chrome.
Regards,
William.

Hi,
The default browser on each computer cannot be changed by us. It is configured on each user computer.
it is important cu clear the cache of the browser if such problems appear, restart the browser and try again.

Re: Downloading FBackup update
Thanks for your info. I use CCeaner Pro and I am sure my PC is quite tidy and clean. Besides that my default browser is Microsoft edge and OS is Win 10. I manually use Chrome on occasions and as said I have tried the same procedure on another computer and get the same results: Microsoft edge fails to download correctly while Chrome does. The other computer is connected to a free Ethernet port to the same modem. No body else seems to have the problem and I wonder if its my ISP. Anyway I can easily use Chrome for FBackup updates, I just need a clean file download and it should work from Microsoft Edge? I may have to try the forum at Microsoft.

william
