FBackup Free is great, but when I try to install the newest version, I get error masseages saying: cannot update (fbSched.exe) file access denied error code 5; later on in the process I also get: invalidStarBurn.dll version: version 0x20090622. Expected: 0x2010110. At the end of the installation I get: Cannot find import: File "starBurn.dll", function "StarBurn_UDF2_VolumeUniCodeCreateEx". My antivirus (AVG free) is turned off. I am using windows xp. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
Please restart the computer and try again.

Let us know if you still have the problem.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

I have posted a thread with exactly the same problem, but only the first bit.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
I have had a couple of failures but for some strange reason it has now gone in.
Could it be possible that something else was running that allowed a conflict?
I'm only a raw beginner so i haven't a clue!
Please let me know of your progress.

Hi,
It seems an application was keeping some files locked and they cannot be overwritten.
