FBackup crashes

Having upgraded to FBackup 8.3 build 237 from FBackup 5 which I used for years without any problems, I am now experiencing random crashes on a weekly network backup [8GB]. When I restart the program I find that the backup has been successful even though it is stuck at about 35% and suspiciously short for 8GB. I am running Windows 7 Home SP1 fully patched. Should I reinstall or wait for another version?

Please download the latest version of FBackup 8.5.264 from:
http://www.fbackup.com/download/setup/fbsetup-full.exe
