FBackup 9.7 build 617, Windows 11
doing a backup of Windows Users directory, FBackup creates the shadow copy and copies the files but during the test phase reports some warnings:
Warning: Size of file <filename> in destination (1350) is different than the size stored in catalog (750)
this is a live system and other processes will be changing some files in the Users directory hence the need for the shadow copy but why is this size problem happening?
is the file size comparison done against the live directory or the shadow copy? or that is not how a shadow copy can be used?

Re: FBackup File size difference in shadow copy backups
Hi,
Do you have this problem every time?
It could be that file was not correctly copied in destination.

yes every time the job is run, different files on different runs
is the file size comparison done against the live directory or the shadow copy? if against the live directory this will always be a problem
