FBackup uninstall starts at each Windows startup

Hi everybody!

When I discovered that backups are no longer performed since several weeks, I eventually found out that I had two versions of FBackup 8 installed. I tried to uninstall both of them, but smth went wrong. I don't know what exactly.

I tried to re-install fbackup, but the installed got stuck at 70% and not finishing. Then I run the uninstall again, but it got stuck at 0% and did not finalise.

Right now, each time I startup Windows, the installer automatically starts uninstalling (and remains stuck at 0%).

I followed recommendations on the internet and deleted application data from AppData, Program Files, etc. I even searched for registries and deleted most. No result.

How can I get rid of this installer starting automatically? Any ideas?

Hi,

Please try to uninstall FBackup from Control Panel. Do you still have the problem?
Also make sure the antivirus does not block the installation of FBackup.
