I have a user that is doing a backup to a network connected backup drive. I have many users doing this successfully. This user's PC always gives the following error:
Cannot create folder "\\XXXXXXXXXX\Sharee\Sharee-PC". The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
The volume, directory, and filename do exist on the backup drive. If I go into the Properties page and select Test Network Connection, the test passes. After I do the test, the backup process works.
What am I missing?
Using FBackup 6.5 (I know it's an older version, but I have several people using it and it works fine on their systems).

Hi,
Do you have the same problem if you use the destination IP in UNC path? \\192.168.2.100\sharedfolder

No, I have not. I'll change it today and see if it runs tonight. Thanks.
