Free Version 5.2 663 No Help Details

I had problems trying to install the update 5.2 ver 633, which I overcame by downloading and reinstalling.
In the earlier version and this version I cannot see any detail relating to the help items.
If I click on help I can see the contents in detail.
If I click on index I can see the index detail.
But if I try and see the content attached to either the content or the index - nothing appears.
Any thoughts as to why I cannot see the detail relating to the item
