Hello, this is a great product, so much better than NTBackup. We have Windows 2000 Server with an Internal Seagate SCSI Travan drive. When setting up a new backup job, I don't see an option to choose this drive. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. NTBackup sees this as an option BTW...

Hi,
Please note FBackup does not support tape drives.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Hi,
Yes, you can use multiple USB drives in FBackup, one for each backup job.

Hello,
There is only a couple of gigs of data to be backed up. If I got 5 exact brand/size thumb drives(say 4GB) each and setup a job, could they just switch thumb drives out each day and let it go?
Thanks!~

Or, do you suggest a DVD burner with a new blank DVD put in everyday? Does F-Backup allow for this?

Hi,
You cannot use CD/DVD as backup destination. You can use USB drive as backup destination.

Please note removable drives are not supported in FBackup.

So the thumb drives won't work either if they are removed daily? If not, Fbackup won't work, they want media they can take home daily in case of a flood/fire. Are there any other options ou would suggest?
Thanks for your time!
