I have noticed a process called btray.exe on startup which seems to delay things, especially access to my Yahoo mail.
What is this Fbackup 5 file - what does it do and can I remove it?? If so, how???
Thanks in advance for any advice

Re: how to stop btray.exe
Hi,
You can disable that process from File->Options->Startup, just uncheck "Start at Windows startup" option.
That process is to easily get notifications about the scheduled backups.

Thanks but the "Start on Windows startup is alrady UNCHECKED. Can I just rename the file and then ignore it??

Re: how to stop btray.exe
Hi,
I do not recommend to rename the file.
We are interested to know if that process is taking a lot of memory or processor.

Re: how to stop btray.exe
Before I got your reply I had already renamed the file to stop it starting up. However, that did not make any difference so maybe it is not btray.exe causing my problem. I have put it back and it on starting up it takes about 20,000k of processor then reduces to about 4,000kb. It is not really a problem - it must be something else on my PC.
Thanks for your help anyway.
