Hi,

There is no need to run in Safe Mode. Please put the bservice.exe process in the exceptions list of the antivirus/firewall and try again to run FBackup.

I just wanted to report, I received a large update from Micrososft on Windows 10 today. After which, I had the IPC error. Allowing bService.exe through the firewall did solve the problem. Yu will probably get a lot of complaints about this. Do you ever send out an email to your users to let them know in advance they may have a problem and how to fix it? I would consider it helpful to have known that this sometimes happens after MS updates.

Just a thought, no reply necessary.
