I'm running FBackup 4.6.251 and it for most backups to my NAS, it fails (See log snippet below). I believe there is a problem with how it interacts with Kaspersky 2011 firewall. When I pause its firewall, the backup works perfectly; but when I enable the firewall and restart FBackup it fails.
I have experimented with removing directories from the backup, and I have got it to succeed by removing most files, but I'm not sure what about some files/folders causes the process to fail.
I have tried it using FBackup V4.0.125 and it works, however 4.6.251 fails.

I have attempted to configure Kaspersky to allow FBackup to do anything, but it seems to have not helped:

- fbackup.exe placed in trusted zone.

- fbackup.exe given all possible exclusions: don't scan opened files, don't monitor application activity, don't inherit restructions from the parent process, don't monitor child application activity, and don't scan network traffic.

- fbackup.exe shown as having full read/write/delete/create permissions.
My machine is:

Intel Core i5, 12 Gig of ram, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1)

I'm running Kaspersky internet security 2011. I am posting a similar message on their forums.

Hi,
Please put all .exe files from FBackup installation folder into the exceptions list of the firewall.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
