My schedule don't work

Post by IT GUY »

My problem is that I can't do a schedule backup. Even though I delete and create a new schedule, it still doesn't work. It won't enable and gives a notification in the status "The task will not run at the scheduled".

I using an Administrator account
FBackup version 7.5.555
OS: Windows XP Pro

p.s. sorry if my English is bad

Hi,

1. Please download and install the latest version of FBackup 9.

2. If you still have the problem, please try to manually create a new simple scheduled task from Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler.
Does it works?

Hi @Adrian (Softland)
I tried to create a new simple schedule manually in FBackup but i got a notification that said "Could not create schedule task The task has been configured with an unsupported combination of account setting and run time options"

P.S. My administrator account got locked out. Is this why the old schedule doesn't work and I can't create a new schedule?

Hi,

I asked you to try creating a new scheduled task in Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler, outside FBackup, to see if your user account has enough permissions to create scheduled tasks.

If the old admin account is no longer active, the old scheduled tasks will not work.

Hi,

That is a problem outside FBackup.
It seems to be a problem with your Windows installation or with the account you use.

I'm using Administrator account with no password set is there any problems with that?

Hi,

Windows has a problem with running scheduled tasks for accounts with no password.
Please set a password for that user account and try again.

Hi,

Windows has a problem with scheduled tasks configured to run when no user is logged on, if that user does not use a login password. Please set a login password and try again.
