Newer file in destination - can one filter?

Post by svanetempest »

Hi,
I store data files locally and also in Onedrive.
I have one backup (mirror) that copies files from a local user directory to the onedrive folder.
I am trying to find out how to prevent a file being copied/backed up to the Onedrive folder if the Onedrive file is more recent due to having been updated remotely and synced back to the local one drive folder?
Essentially, are there any setting as to what takes preference depending on where the file is newer?
Thanks.

Hi,

FBackup is a one way backup solution.
You cannot compare the source file with the existing file in destination, as it is compared with the information stored in catalog. It is supposed the backup files in destination are not modified by other applications.
