No backups running after upgrading from v8.9 to 9.0

I was prompted to upgrade FBackup (free edition) from v8.9 to v9.0 a couple of days ago. I did the upgrade, and imported all of my backups from v8.9.
When the scheduled backups ran on the first night, from a Windows 10 machine to various drives on an Ubuntu file server, all of the jobs failed with an "Access denied" error.
I tried creating a new file and folder on the Ubuntu file server from the same Windows 10 machine that Fbackup runs on, and had no problems.
...and now a day later I've noticed that none of my daily scheduled backups ran last night. I tried running some of them manually, and couldn't get any of them to start. So upgrading from 8.9 to 9.0 has basically completely trashed my backup regime.
Any idea how I can diagnose/fix this?

Hi,

1. Did you get any error/warning message during the backup jobs upgrade?
2. Do you have the same problem if you manually run one of the backup jobs you have?
3. If yes, please send us the last backup log for such a backup job, to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

No I didn't get any error/warning messages during the upgrade - it all appeared to go smoothly.
If I try to run a job manually it gets added to the "Running" list, but the job never starts. After attempting to run it manually in this way the option to run it again becomes disabled (I am only able to select the option to run the job later).
I am now sending you the last backup log for the first job.

Hi.
Although my initial issue was the Fast Backup not working (which is now fixed), I also had an issue with access denied on scheduled backups.
I found that ny right clicking on the FBackuop program (in the \programs folder) I added my name to the permissions as well as changing all users to full access permissions. I restarted Fbackup and this seemed to work.
There is still an issue I have reported where it fails with an error if I try to set a backup schedule if the user is not logged in, but that is very minor in my case.

Which build of FBackup do you use?
Do you try to create the scheduled task for the current logged in user?
I tried to reproduce the problem but it works fine for me, that is why we ask for more details.
