Overwriting files to NAS drive

Post by comprepair »

Does fbackup overwrite files on a NAS drive when the drive fills up with backups? I am using the "Full" backup type every night. We have 2 identical NAS devices (WD MyBook Live's) set with the same IP address. We swap those out once a week. Does fbackup support rotating hard drives (NAS devices) like this?

Thanks,

Hi,

FBackup keeps in destination a single backup version, it makes a full every time.
Rotating the hard drives in destination is supported this way as there will be a full executed every time, no matter of which drive is connected in destination.
