PROBLEM WITH AUTOMATIC SCHEDULER

Hello,

I have one job in fbackup. When i set automatic start in scheduler backup don't start.
When I start manual job was start perfectly.

Where i must search problem ? I think the configuration is OK.
I restart service fbackup and problem doesn't disappeared.

Version 5.4.
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi,

What is the type of the scheduler used?
Was there any user logged on at the scheduled time?
Do you have the same problem if you schedule the backup to run while you are in front of the computer?

1. Job type: job, Scheduler:windows, Run in:Background, Action:Backup (Daily, every day)
2. No, then no one is logged
3. Yes, backup only work when i punt the button "Buckup" in the front job panel.

This issue has been recently, before it was properly.
Today at night I must restart server, mamy something is suspended.

Today when I log onto server i have error.

"Do you want to restart the IPC server ?
There was an error while trying to connect to the IPC server
Cannot connect pipe client".

Hi,

That seems to be a problem with the bservice.exe file from the FBackup installation folder, as being blocked by the antivirus or firewall on your computer.
Please put the "bservice.exe" file in the exceptions list of the antivirus/firewall and run again the backup.

You can put the entire folder of FBackup in the exceptions list and see if the previous problem is also solved.

Hi,

I put the program into the firewall on my computer and problem don't disappeared.
On server i dont have antywirus, router scans all traffic.

Hi,

Can you manually start the bservice.exe process from FBackup installation folder?
Does it remain running in Task Manager?
