Restore files after installing new OS

Before changing from XP to Windows 7, I backed up all of my files to an external hard-drive, separated into categories ( documents, photos, etc.) As far as I can tell, each back up was successful. Having re-installed FBackup, I find there is nothing to restore, since there are no backups listed. Can anyone help me recover my files to my PC, please?

Hi,

You just need to open the .fkc catalog files from the backup destination in FBackup. The backup jobs will be recreated.

Funciona do mesmo jeito se for só feita a restauração pelo plugin "FBackup Configurações"?

Quando sou obrigado a recuperar uma imagem do sistema por completo uso esse modo. Em uma reinstalação do sistema operacional vai funcionar também?

Hi,

You can also use the FBackup configurations plugin to create a backup of the configurations. Restoring it will also recreate the backup jobs.
