So I've received my laptop from the repair place, and ran a restore from FBackup. All the files and folders from before are now on my computer.
The problem is that none of them are showing up as installed. Everything from Outlook to Steam says that no program is installed when I double click.
Im using Windows Vista and the latest version of FBackup.
Any ideas whats wrong?

Hi,
You need to install the applications first.
Please note FBackup was not designed for system backup, so you won't be able to restore the operating system.
You should use FBackup for data files backup only.
We do not recommend to use FBackup in order to backup system files / installed software.
We encourage users to use it only for their own work: files and folders.

Hi,
If the catalog was overwritten, you can restore from backup only manually by extracting the zip archive using a zip extracting tool. You cannot restore the backup using FBackup as the catalog information regarding that backup was lost.
