The backup does run at the time scheduled, but fails with error message "directory does not exist". Don't know whether it means the source of the destination. In either case the directories do exist, as shown by the backup working. The destination is a drobo (mapped to the w: drive) if this makes any difference. I'm using windows scheduler. But again scheduler does run the job. It simply fails.
