Windows 2008 Server R2.

Windows Scheduled backup task created from within fbackup
Created it and set to run. Needs to run while not logged in as it's dedicated server. Backup history says it activated but and completed. But no backup was created and no fbackup logs.
Please help.

Hi,
Do you used the Built-in scheduler or the Windows Scheduler option from FBackup?

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Hi,
Can you create a scheduled task from Windows (Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler) to start another application?

Does it work if you create a task to start the backup?

I have other non-fbackup tasks running with no problem. I tried creating a fbackup task and it does the same thing.

Hi,
So you cannot create a new scheduled task for FBackup using the Task Scheduler options for Control Panel, outside FBackup?

That means you have a problem with the permissions or the scheduler as you cannot schedule this task from Windows.

The task does get created.. But it will not run. It doesn't error just says ran and took 1 second. Look at first post has error logs from windows event viewer.

Hi,
If the backup job can be manually ran, then it also should run scheduled.

Can you give us access to your computer using TeamViewer?

It does run manually I just checked. I also checked and it's set to run whether logged in or not. I have to see if I can use TeamViewer. This is a dedicated web server
