Shutdown Not Working After W8 Upgrade

Computer: Dell Optiplex 755 Desktop PC - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz

Problem: I recently installed Win8 upgrade (prev. Win7). Since the upgrade Fbackup 5.192 does not shut down the computer. The log entry shows shutdown, with no error messages, nor are there warnings/error messages in Windows event log.

OK, unlike another similar, but not identical issue on the board, uninstalling and re-installing Fbackup worked for me, so the problem is fixed. It even saved my backup plan, so I didn't have to set it up all over again.

Hi,

Do you mean the computer does not shutdown if FBackup is installed? in this case, please make sure the process bbackup.exe is not running. If it is running, that means there is a backup in progress.
