Since I upgraded to FB5, there have been a few files skipped during a backup that were not skipped with FB4.
Here is part of last night's log:

All these files are in a folder on my desktop and are shortcuts to programs/links used with my scanner. The folder has the READ ONLY attribute selected and after READ ONLY has (Only applies to the files in folder).
None of the files (shortcuts) in the folder have the READ NOLY attribute selected.
I have deselcted the READ ONLY attribute from this folder many times (logged in as admin) but some how it always gets selected again.
Note that I have other folders on my desktop with shortcuts to groups of files that are NOT READ ONLY and **STAY** NOT read only forever.
Any ideas?

Re: Some files skipped during backup
Hi,
1. Can you manually copy this file to another location using Windows Explorer?
C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\Scanner Software\Canon CanoScan 8600F User Registration.LNK
2. Is the backup running scheduled?

Something weird here - I replied to this message earlier but the reply has vanished...Softland wrote: 1. Can you manually copy this file to another location using Windows Explorer?

Anyway, Yes I can manually copy both the folder & contents, and each individual file. And the backup is running scheduled.
I just made a new folder and put all the contents of the old folder in it, and erased the old folder. So we'll see what happens tonight.
As an aside, when I right clicked the desktop (win 7 Pro 64 bit) and clicked New | New Folder, the New Folder had the hidden attribute applied. So, I copied another folder (that does NOT have the RO attribute set) that is on my desktop, renamed it and moved the shortcuts to it (then deleted the old Read Only folder). So far, this folder does not have the RO attribute applied. I was logged in as me (admin) through all of this.
