System cannot find the path specified

Back up has worked successfully for a long time and then we came back from holiday and now when you plug in the external hard drive (E drive) the red light comes on in the EHD but when we try and run the back up (already set up) it comes up that the "system cannot find the path specified" ... which was set up as the E drive. Have tried several different USB ports with the same result. Can anyone help?

Hi,
Please make sure the external drive is recognized in Windows Explorer with E: drive letter.
