FBackup Forum

I am running FBackup 5.4 build 784 on a Windows 7 machine which I believe to be up to date.

Recently, I began getting multiple messages when FBackup is not running that say they are from FBackup5, and read:

"Task Scheduler Service is not running"

They are displayed in a small window.

I run FBackup manually, not through any scheduler.

I have checked FBackup options and can find nothing that shows that it is being run by a scheduler.

I have used Windows Autoruns.exe to look for some part of FBackup that does not appear to be started and can find none.

Would appreciate any suggestions/ideas/help.

Hi,

That is a Windows service used by FBackup.
To start it, please go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services
Find "Task Scheduler" service and start it.
