I continue to get a pop up saying 'task scheduler service is not running'. I don't want to schedule a task. I want to manually backup my computer when needed.
How do I stop this pop up? I've tried scheduling a one time backup but it won't allow it. I'm ready to delete this program if I can't stop this pop up!!!!!

Re: task scheduler
Hi,
Please go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Schedule tasks
Delete the tasks for FBackup.

Re: task scheduler
Thanks for the reply.
I'm in Windows 7. The task scheduler shows no tasks to delete (display all running tasks is greyed out).
Any other suggestions?

Re: task scheduler
I am also running Windows 7 and keep getting this message like every 5 minutes. This has just started today and I can not figure out how to stop. I like the software but hate when a package starts doing things I didn't ask for. Short of uninstalling the software what can I do?

@robinray649
Please go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services.
Make sure the "Task Scheduler" service is started and running.
