6.0 build 91; from a 15-20 minute backup the same amount of files now takes 1hour:20minutes to complete.
The early 5.0 series FBackup was 3 times quicker why is this software getting slower?

Hi,
Please let us know how many files you have in that backup and if you have the same problem when you run again the backup after few minutes?
Is that a server or a personal computer?

Hi,
How many files you have in all backup versions of that job? I want to know how many files are stored in catalog.

Hi,
If you press the Test button, you will see a list with all backup executions for that job, each execution has the number of files listed there. Just tell me an approximate sum of all files.

Hi,
We created a new build of FBackup to have the usage of USN journal optional.
Please download it from wetransfer: http://we.tl/3UvYikZJ5e
Open the Backup Properties->Advanced and uncheck the "Smart file scanning mode" option.
Press Save and run the backup. Let us know if the problem still exists.

Re: very slow back up!
What does the USN journal option do?
Also how do I get FBackup to remember my login during a session, every time I go in or out of a post I have to login again.
edit:
Given the same backup the new backup program that you provided took 23 minutes from 1 hr 45 minutes...much better. This is how it used to be before v5.5.
Thanks.

Hi,
The USN journal is offered by Windows OS and it is useful in faster detecting the changes on the hard drive.
For the session problem, have you tried to delete all cookies or use another browser? do you still have the problem?
