Hi,

The excluded files are the files that have been deleted from the source location or have been moved into another folder since the last backup execution.
The skipped files are the files that should have been backed up but they were deleted since the backup started (temp files) or FBackup does not have enough permissions to back up those files.

Thank you for your response!
This I understand.

Is this one of the program's filters doing the deletion?

Hi,

No, the program's filters will not delete the files. In case you exclude some file types using filters, they will not be counted.
The deleted files since the backup starts could be some temp files created in that time by other applications, browsers etc. Some are deleted by their applications when no longer necessarily. That is why we don't recommend the backup of temp files.
