Each time I open FBackup on my server the application opens for one or two seconds then closes again. I upgraded to the latest version but it does the same. An new icon for Fbackup is displayed in the bottom rh toolbox and when I click on "show" it performs the same way. Any ideas?
Cheers
Mick

Hi,
1. Is the fbackup.exe process running in Task manager?

2. Do you have any firewall/antivirus that could block FBackup?

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

I get the same on my laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (32 bit).
The process is running, and I can right-click on the system tray icon and click Backup group... etc. to get the backups to run, however I cannot amend any of the backup definitions which is an issue.
As for Firewall, I do run the Win firewall, but it's not blocking.
Cheers,
Phil

Hi,
Can you give me access to your computer using TeamViewer?

I can't allow remote access, but if there is a verbose logging mode on the software that I can start I would be more than happy to provide logs.
