Protect backup against ransomware

Post by ogudikov »

Hi all,
Does FBackup4All offer any protection against ransomware in case backup on local external SSD connected by USB?
Something like read only protection after backup or unmount disk?
Thanks.

Hi,

FBackup does not offer such a protection.
You can use FBackup to back up your files to a cloud destination in order to protect them in case of a ransomware attack.
Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

That's what I expected, but thought about it too late.
Do you have moneyback? This product is not what I want.
