Just a quick question about how fbackup verifies the backup when "test after backup" is selected. Does it create and compare hashes or does it do something simpler (i.e. check to ensure file sizes are the same)?

Hi,
It calculates the CRC for each file in destination and compares it with the CRC stored in catalog.

Hi,
Can you run the backup manually?

Did you use the Windows scheduler or the built in scheduler option from FBackup?

Hello,
I'm using FBackup to backup (2) computers manually in my home. I like your program and I'm using it's backup up (not Windows scheduler) I'm just backing up the Owner files which is basically - documents, photos, music, etc. The backups are successful and so is the testing that takes place after the backups. Overall, everything works fine. Here is my question - how do I find what I have backed up on my 1TB hard drive (Western Digital)? Is there a way for me to see the files and folders that I have backed up to ensure they really did back up? I can't seem to find what I have successfully backed up or where they are located on the 1TB W/D hard drive. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
You cannot see the files you backed up using FBackup.

You can see the location of the destination folder if you go to View->Open Folder->Destination folder.
