I see a few users have requested you add the feature to run fbackup as a service. This would be great however I understand that making a change like that is a lot of work and it may be a while before we see a feature like that. Therefore I ask that you could simply add a Hide on start up option. Once started you can of course right click the notification icon and hit hide from there but its an annoyance to have to do it every time you reboot.

I agree, a start iconized option would be nice.

Here is a tip that might partially help you until the feature is implemented.
I assume you have the Fbackup shortcut icon on your desktop. If so, right click on it and select Properties. Under the tab called Shortcut, Change the value for "Run" from "Normal window" to "Minimized" and click ok.
When the program executes, the program will be minimized above the "Start" button.

Thanks for the tip but I'll still have to go click hide on the icon.

The tip that I mentioned works for the FBackup shortcut icon on your desktop when manually started (by double clicking on the shortcut) but unfortunately a backup job that is done through the scheduler doesn't use the properties of this shortcut.
