Having just sufferred a major disk crash requiring a new hard drive, I was able to restore to the new drive from a complete backup on an external drive. This drive also had the backup program installed on it so I was able to just plug it in, run and restore. After this I wondered if there was a better backup program and found fbackup. It looks good but apparently can only run from the C drive.
If it could run from the back up drive I'd probably swap over, as it seems to be much simpler to set up and use than my current one.
My wishlist - make Fbackup exceutable from an external drive.

Hi,
We already have a commercial edition that can run from an external hard drive: Backup4all Portable. Please visit the website and test it.
