I am trying to backup a folder on Computer A to a folder on Computer B.
When I set up the backup profile and test the connection it says everything's OK. But when I try to do the backup it fails saying it cannot create the target folder. The target folder is already there and doesn't need to be created.
But, the target folder is not exactly the same as the one defined.
Say the target folder is:

\\computerB\targetdrive\targetfolder
It will say it cannot connect to or create

\\computerB\targetdrive\targetfolder\C\
Here's the error message:
Error running backup job 'My Backup' from "My Backup Jobs" group.

Cannot create directory "\\computerB\targetdrive\targetfolder\C\".

Retry to create directory or cancel backup?
There is no "\C\" on the end of the target folder name.

In rereading my post I see a lot of ambiguous statements. Apparently the system will not let me edit my post so I am editing and reposting it here.
===================================

I'm trying to backup a folder on Computer A to a folder on Computer B. Computer B is located across my network.
When I set up the backup profile and test the connection it says everything's OK. But when I try to do the backup it fails saying it cannot create the target folder. The target folder is already there and doesn't need to be created.
But, the folder FBackup is trying to use is not the same as the one defined by me.
Say the real target folder is:

\\computerB\targetdrive\targetfolder
FBackup will say it cannot create

\\computerB\targetdrive\targetfolder\C\
Here's the error message:
Error running backup job 'My Backup' from "My Backup Jobs" group.

Cannot create directory "\\computerB\targetdrive\targetfolder\C\".

Retry to create directory or cancel backup?
There is no "\C\" on the end of the target folder name I defined.

Hi,
It seems you don't have enough permissions to create folders in destination.

You're right. That was it. But, I had checked the permissions on that drive and they permit Computer A to have full read/write access. And, when the program said all is well I assumed all was well. I had to independently share the target folder.

By the way. Thanks for your reply.
