Scheduler - Task File - Naming problems

I have just updated from FBackup 4 to FBackup 5

I am having challenges with two of my backups - Outlook and FBackup Configurations

In the Scheduler - Task File the names are fba_Outlook (1) and fba_FBackup Configurations (1)

How do I get FBackup to recognize these without the (1) extension?

Thanks

Happy New Year

Tim

Hi,

If the tasks are not seen by FBackup, I recommend you to recreate the scheduled tasks from FBackup.

The tasks are being seen by FBackup, just not named correctly. I want FBackup to recognize the tasks without the (1) extension. Is there anyway to do that? Thanks.

I have 8 backup jobs within FBackup 5, but none of the 8 jobs are “Outlook Old” or “FBackup Configurations Old”. How come FBackup 5 is giving error messages telling me that these 2 jobs are “Invalid parameters” and that these 2 jobs are not a valid backup job or group? More importantly how can I stop this from happening? I think this is why in the Scheduler - Task File the 2 jobs that I presently do have and that are functioning have the names fba_Outlook (1) and fba_FBackup Configurations (1). So if this could be solved I think it might solve the naming problem as well, and remove the (1) extensions. Does it have something to do with an .ini file?

Hi,

Please go to Control Panel->Task scheduler and remove the invalid scheduled tasks.

From within Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler can the scheduled tasks be renamed? I have deleted the invalid scheduled tasks and I will know shortly if that worked or not, but what I cannot figure out how to do is to rename a task.
