Unable to install any version after build 358 purge

After doing my best to remove every trace of the disastrous build 358 (WARNING), which made it impossible to log into 2 separate Win7 machines, I am now unable to install build 359 (or any other version). I get a Windows complaint
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation
package "fbsetup.msi" in the box below.
Use source C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{C5FE269D-CDD4-45FE-9F2B-8D686B2595F9}v5.0.355\"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I found the "fbsetup.msi" file in one of these Package Cache directories and pointed to it as Windows requested, only to get the
follow-up complaint
"The file ....\fbsetup.msi is not a valid installation package for the product FBackup 5. Try to find the installation package "fbsetup.msi" in a folder from which you can install FBackup 5."
So Softland, what do I do? It seems that there are some ghostly echoes of the build 358 disaster and the current version simply won't install.
