Hi,

If the drives are differently assigned by Windows, there is nothing you can do from FBackup. You need to re-assign them from Windows if possible.

As for the location where the backup configuration will be saved, you can select the backup destination when you create the backup job.

Yes I know I can't do anything from the GUI, but can it be done by an editor by replacing drive letters in the catalog file ? maybe in some other files also ?
I really like your software ease of use and its CRC32 testing and overall I think it is good. Since you were kind to give me and other users the chance to have it for free, I just thought to give you some feedback for improvements to make your software an even better one:
* regarding what I wrote before about the drive letter
* you could add the option to check the files using also other hash algorithms (not only the CRC32) for those seeking for it. It can also be serialized (start by CRC32, continue with MD5,...as the user chooses). That would give you a big benefit in your commercial version over the others.
