After creating a backup job I have been unsuccessful in Advanced options in being capable of Run program/action before backup. Help files state you can enter between quotes the path to the executable file you desire (which I would gather would allow me to run a .bat file) or click onto the folder button to locate file. The 4.7 build 270 I have installed does not have either capability.
Run action after backup has the same flaw.
My purpose of wanting these actions is to run batch files to map network drive before backup and delete network drive post backup.
Any help?
Thanks

Hi,
The option to use your own executable file is available only in our commercial edition: Backup4all.

So why would you create help files in fbackup explaining how to use a feature that is not supported by the version of software? Jeus,

Hi,
It is not explained a feature which is not supported. One of the possible usage of that option is not supported in FBackup. Just because the way you want to use it is not supported, it doesn't mean the option should not be explained at all in the help file.

We will update the help file.
