Hi,
I have set up a scheduled backup in an account with administrator privileges (Win XP Pro SP3 - FBackup Built-in scheduler).
The computer has another account only with user privileges. Normally, the user that is logged on is this (user privileges).
Will the scheduled backup run if this user is logged on?
Thanks.

Hi,
The scheduler will run but you need to make sure you have enough permissions to access the source and the destination under that account.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
The account user has permissions to access source. The destination is a network drive (NAS). The user don't have permissions to access the network drive, however the access information (user and password) are configured on FBackup (backup properties).
I have tested to scheduled the backup but it does't run in the account with user privileges.

Hi,
Is the scheduler set to run using the main interface or the command line?

Does the backup works if manually started?

Hi,
The scheduler is set to run using the main interface.
Yes, the backup works running it manually (using the account with administrator privileges).

Hi,
1. Does the scheduler works fine if it runs while logged on using the administrator account?

2. The built-in scheduler runs with the permissions of the currently logged on account, while the Windows scheduler runs with the permissions of the account you set up. Try using the Windows scheduler option.

Hi,
1. Yes, the scheduler runs while administrator account is logged on.
2. I already had tried that. Using the Windows scheduler option, the Task Scheduler of Windows runs the job but the FBackup doesn't start. Here is the log of Windows Task Scheduler (in Portuguese):
"fba_BackupDiario.job" (fbaSchedStarter.exe)

"fba_BackupDiario.job" (fbaSchedStarter.exe)

Resultado: A tarefa foi concluída com um código de saída de (0).

Hi,
Please send me the following files to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

- the last backup log from View->Job Logs->Last backup log

- the .fkc catalog file from the backup destination

Put both files into a zip archive.
